I just finished my 5th item for F.I.R.E.'s "Dulaan 10,000 or Bust" push. (The latest is the brown single crochet hat in the back.) For more details on the projects see my blog's Dulaan tagged posts.

In 2008 we donated 3,433 items for a 2-year total of 6,634 items!!
In 2009 we donated 2,655 items for a 3-year total of 9,289 items!!!
Homespun Helpers is beginning a third year of hand-crafting items for charities. Our goal is to be a source of crafted items that charities need in order to better help people. Whether it's a hat for Afghans for Afghans or an afghan for Afghan for Angels, we are willing to provide existing charities with whatever will help them let others know they are loved.

In 2009 we donated 2,655 items for a 3-year total of 9,289 items!!!
As of 2/3/10 we have donated 51 items!
Let's go for 4,000 in 2009!
