It's almost April :D

Well hello there everyone!

It has been a great month, at least craft-wise. I could have done without the weather this month, but hey, you can't win 'em all.

There are only a couple of days left to post your mittens for the mitten contest. There is some really beautiful yarn to win if your name is drawn from Zort's magic hat, so get those mittens going! If I can do mittens in a day, so can you :)

Speaking of contests, the Caron "warm up the world" square contest is still going, and we are trying to enter as a group effort. Our fearless square leader, Robyn, would like to have all squares by April 25 so that she can ship the squares to Caron for counting in time for the deadline. If you have a stash of Caron yarn lying around, this is a great way to use them up.

Check up on our contact info for this contest here:

Don' forget that we are heading for a goal of 2,000 by the end of June, which will be halfway to our year goal. I think if we keep up on this pace we will be in great shape.

I am still hoping to make a huge donation to at least one local homeless shelter in early June and am collecting How many people can we dress type items. If you are interested in participating, you can send items to the usual HMPCWD contact, Jezebel in San Francisco, or if you e-mail me we can work things out from there.

Let's have March go out like a lion...at least in this community :)
