Hi everyone,
I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year. This year has been another fantastic year, better than I could have imagined. We have had some excellent folk join us, excellent folk have stayed with us, and we kicked last year's record right out the door.
I am very much looking forward to next year, where hopefully things will be a bit more organized as we all want :)
Remember, beginning in January 1st, anyone who posts anything will be entered once into a drawing to win a skein of yarn of your choosing.
Love to you all. May this end of 2008 be joyous and safe for you.

Merry Christmas to you also. Looking forward to another fun year. Can hardly believe we're close at hand with the close of 08!
Sandy
Hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas with family and are keeping warm and safe.
Hope you've had time to check out the Bridge Project Blog , we're making wonderful headway. Keep those hats and scarfs coming.
Just checked calendar (here on yahoo) to see what our focus for January is and see it's 7 x 9 rectangles for Warm Up America, which presents me with some questions.
Are you all making rectangles to send directly? Are is someone collecting rectangles from our group to stitch together then mailing directly to NC, Or is someone collecting and after stitching together doing something locally with them?
Are you making and dropping them off in stores locally that collect them?
I've not made the 7 x 9's before and so wondered how you all plan to go about focusing on this come January (in a few days).
Happy New Year All, will check in on the blog (where I do more often then here), and on Ravelry; but since I'm in all 3 locals...thought I'd check in and say hi and ask.
Thanks
Sandy
