I mentioned this in a comment over at the LJ community this morning, and I thought I would post about it here too. March is National Crochet Month, and to celebrate, I am going to spend the month crocheting for charity. (At least that's my intention - I'm not entirely sure I can go an entire month without knitting something.) Since I am also trying to use up my stash this year and get it under control, I am setting a goal for myself of using between 2 and 3 miles of yarn during the month. Anyway, I wondered if any of the crocheters in this group would care to join me in part or all of this challenge. (If you don't feel the need to crochet miles of yarn, I would completely understand.) I think it will be a great opportunity to keep the group's tally going up and up and up!
