I have created a Ravelry group for Operation Bag of Home, and as a reminder, we also have a group there for this community!
I also want to put the call out that these little bags can be filled with more homemade stuff than maybe we were thinking. Little jewelry charms might be nice, or soaps (ehem hem, for those fairies out there), or any other ideas I'm not thinking of.
No pressure at all, of course, but if you are interested in participating in that group, there are many ways to do so :)

In 2009 we donated 2,655 items for a 3-year total of 9,289 items!!!
Homespun Helpers is beginning a third year of hand-crafting items for charities. Our goal is to be a source of crafted items that charities need in order to better help people. Whether it's a hat for Afghans for Afghans or an afghan for Afghan for Angels, we are willing to provide existing charities with whatever will help them let others know they are loved.
